The famous Nintendo company was founded in 1889, which was a small company in the beginning. Let's review the development history of the Nintendo handheld game player.

1983/7--

Nintendo was publishing the FC game player (which called 'NES' in Western countries), it was the first trying on cassette type video game platform.

At the present time, the 'NES' is the still the choice for the game fans.

1998/10-

Game Boy Color was published by Nintendo, which was the first handheld game player in history.

1999.4--
Game Boy Light was published. The new function of background light was used on the Game Boy at that time.

2001/3--
Game Boy Advance was pubulished, which was well known as GBA.

   


2004/4--
DS (NDS) was published, the new style of dual screen was praised by the masses of fans even till now.

  

2006/1/26
Nintendo was publishing the improved version of Nintendo DS (called Nintendo DS Lite) closely after NDS.
It called NDS "Lite", because the volume is 42% of NDS.
And the weight is 80% of NDS only, which was decreased to 218g.

2008/10/2--
NDSi was published officially.
--The screen was increased to 3.25 inch.
--Add two camera of 300 million pixels.
--Add function of surfing the internet.

2009/10/30--
NDSi LL was published formally.
--The screen was increased to 4.2 inch, which was nearly 3cm's longer in length and 2cm's longer in width than NDSi.

2010/3--
Nintendo released the news that they will pushlish the new game handheld player--Nintendo 3DS in the end of Mar, 2010,
Games could be displayed in 3D on the unit's top screen without requiring special 3D glasses..

2012/6/22--
Nintendo pushlished the improved 3DS--3DS LL/XL in the conference online.
The main feature of the 3DS LL/XL was increasing the size of the dual screen and making the 3D function more stronger.
Besides, the volume of the lithium battery was increased for 1.9 times based on 3DS.
